If you fish fast water and need a very buoyant hopper or a buoyant fly to support a nymph try this one. 

MATERIALS:

Hook    4 to 10 2X long shank or bass stinger
Thread  - Same colour as foam or  body material
Tail and overbody - Closed cell foam
Underbody - Peacock herl, ice chenille or dubbing
Wing - Deer hair or crystal flash
Legs - Rubber legs
